I heard on KPBS radio this morning on the way to work that more than 40 percents of them decided not to graduate from High School. What's up with that?

Well, you generalize tooo much.
Many black people drop out to work, but more drop out to conduct gang bussiness full time.
Many Latinos drop out to conduct gang bussiness full time, more drop out to work.
Other drop out, because going to school isn't as "cool" as being ignorant.
There are as many reasons as people. Got to poor white neighborhoods and you'll see white people dropping out for the same reasons.

its not always easy. I am white adn i whent to a all white highschool in the stix and ALOT of use diidnt grad. id say at least 40% of my graduating class alot got into drugs and i had many realsons not to my self in my home life its not just Blacks and Hispanics

Not all blacks and latinos drop out from high school.
And they are not the only race with a drop out percentage.

They find themselves involved in gangs so they decide to drop out.

thats not true, just coz whites happen to be in key positions doesnt mean they are the most educated...they are blacks too, did you see why female blacks are leaving the bench?? racism.

I AM WHITE & I DROPPED OUT AFTER 9TH GRADE...TOO MANY DRUGS !!! WELL...I GOT EXPELLED & THEN DROPPED OUT ALL TOGETHER !!! I HATED SCHOOL...I AM SMART... IT JUST WAS NOT THE PLACE FOR ME !!! I GOT MY G.E.D. WHEN I WAS 16 THO !!!
