We have the Common frog (Rana temporaria) in England mainly, though I am sure there are many others. Looks like this:

I love frogs. I "borrowed" some frog spawn from a local park seven years ago, and my lil froggies have lived in our pond ever since, laying their own spawn etc. THink we're on our third generation now. They're so cute. There's about thirty, and they sit in groups, all facing different directions, to guard each other. I sit and watch them for ages, they're not bothered by me, utterly used to me interfering by fishing bits of rubbish out if their pond, and topping up the water level. I find frogs fascinating, and I think they're so goddamnned cute!

I love tree frogs and poison dart frogs. Love to look at them in zoos, although I'd much rather they were free the lovely toxic little things!

Not quite sure what you mean as I'm still poor at internet-speak. If you mean ordinary hopping frogs I get them In my plant-filled yard (plant-pots etc), but they're too shy to answer when I ask their breed and name. They're all called Freddie though. The last one was green and yellow, and hopped in silence. UK.
