I dunno... on one hand Ithink you should get him some toilet paper since he is acting like a butthole but on the other hand I keep looking at your age and all the "drama" this relationship has caused you...I don't really think you want to buy him a present it will send him the wrong message and furthermore you have in my opinion already figured out he is no good for you so do what you know you have to do stop communicating with him and find you somebody else who will bring joy to your life instead of misery Good Luck!!

maybe you should just pull back.. and wait until he contacts you.. if he's going through a hard time.. the last thing he needs is for you to nag... a b'day is just another day.. no big deal..
so just be there for him if he needs someone to listen... and back off... you seem to be nagging him a bit too much...
if you want to buy him a gift.. dont' do it to expect something in return.. just buy or don't buy...

Say forget you, that is obvious. Leave him ex'd you are better off, is it worth all this drama? Is it worth all the confusion? Is any of this how you define love? Of course not, that means you walk away now before you get in any deeper, you have wasted enough time.
