I have a pair of flip flops that i really like. i paid 3.99 from target.

yes, I had a pair of jcrew flip flops. they were two inches thick and real comfy. I wore them every day for 3 summers.
I would never get rid of them.
EXCEPT:
the soles wore thin and when I walked in water and then on a smooth surface I would slip.
I got used to this until I was in Florida in the middle of winter, brought my trusty sandals and stopped in a Target for some bottled water.
There was a spill on the floor and I went slip sliding all over the place and fell on my back. I was 20 weeks pregnant with twins and could nearly have lost them due to the fall so in the trash can they went.
PS: no I didn't sue them. and yes the twins are just fine.

You want a list? LOL, just kidding. I love all my shoes, but the ones that I couldn't bear to part with are black boots with 3 inch heels. They click and look good with basically anything. Another pair is suede, with the black chipping off the heels. They're going to be about four years old.

I had 2 pairs of favorite shoes......
But I cant wear them anymore.
1. My running shoes because my big right toe sticks out now because I ran so much in them.
2. My Nike acg sandals from 7 years ago. A strap broke on them so they suck now. They smell if I wear em too, but I still have em.

Nope...not anymore. After I parted with my favorite pair a few years ago, I didn't let myself get attached to any other pairs.

I have a pair of platform flip flops that when I get up from my
couch or office chair, the first thing I touch shocks me. And with
my office, I have a lot of metal in my office. I still wear these flip
flops and risk the shock.

I can't part with my red leather boots, or anything made by Skecher. I like my Earth Shoes sandals too.

Yep --- a pair of Reef Flip flops that are old and worn out and UGLY --- don't care I love em', they don't match a thing I own, but I wear them with everything anyway !!

Yes, and I often buy sandals that I really like and are comfortable in more than one color. One summer when I was pregnant, I was in the elevator at work and someone complimented my shoes. I looked down and realized that one was black and one was brown. :)

Yes. They're this pair of $10 sandals I got at target around three years ago. They're so nasty, but I still love them so much.
