I know you said no websites but have you tried http://www.babynames.com/Names/Popular/index.php?y=2005 its the top names.
Also just keep your ears open. My parents had a long list of names for me but still were not happy. One day my mom looked up at the tv and one of the comedians names was in the credits. She loved the name and knew it was for me. You will prob. hear or see the name somewhere. Im sure anything you choose will be perfect.

They have baby books according to countries. My friend has one for Irish names. You may want to try on of those types of baby name books.

4 next time say if its a boy or a girl.
Any way I will give u my opinion.
If its a boy it would be a nice name Aristophanes, Damocles, Socrates or Mr Ed.
And if it is a girl her name will be Camembert. No other name can beat that one. And she will be very unique

Why don't you choose a name from you and your partners name, that would be close. Try a book shop they have loads to baby books which has names and also biblical and signifcant meanings.

We could not decide on a girls name -- I started watching movies, listening to the female names and then reading the actresses' names.
