Diesel's have a solenoid that controls the fuel-SOME are electric & U might have voltage to it if its electric.IF not, your lever isn't completely closing.

i'm guessing in this yet I had a diesel(different motor vehicle make comparable 3 hundred and sixty 5 days). interior the engine compartment, discover the gas injection pump.(it incredibly is the place the guy steel strains to each and each cylinder meet). On that unit, there must be some fantastic electric wiring. One singular cord under a small nut which, whilst there is capability(12V) going to it, holds the "gas decrease off solenoid" OPEN which permits gas to circulate the engine. frequently, via turning off the foremost capability does not circulate there any greater and the solenoid closes reducing off the gas. Engine stops. the two loosen this cord off the nut ( or decrease off the cord-yet you go with to start the motor vehicle later so it must be reconnected) Your determination what to do. come across a sprint metric wrench and do it real or no longer. as quickly as the cord is bumped off, the engine will provide up. Why no longer disconnect the battery? by way of fact the alternator will shop the capability going there. concern is the two interior the decrease off solenoid or interior the ignition change is worn. (In mine, it grow to be the ignition change) enable a save experienced in diesels restoration it.
