Witchcraft is seeking that which is paranormal. It opens a person up to influence that has the potential of compounding within them - assuming control over their will. This would be similar to alcohol addiction. The person does not set out to become an alcoholic - it is a process.
I believe it to be very dangerous, and would stay away from it. There are too many other interesting things to do, other than to become caught up in a cult of some sort where in the end you become a slave to ???? Dont do it.

my friend is a pagan, or a "witch" it is actually not a dark kind of thing. It is a form of religion or a set of rituals and rites that is related to the druids...all the way back to Stonehenge. It is just a way of honoring and thanking the earth for what she provides. There are some "spells" but it true practitioners heed the golden rule....do no harm. If you think about it, it is very similar to native American rituals.
a lot of teen goths think they are witches....they are full of it.
educate yourself properly, visit an alternative bookstore or research it in a library....it's true meaning would surprise you

The term witch is usually used to describe someone who follows the old religion, which is paganism. There are loads of pagan sites where you can learn about this. We are not devil worshipers, we are not satans handmaidens. Both of those ideals are made up by christians, who have been against Pagans since the Dark Ages. there is no devil in Paganism.

i happen to practice Wicca, witchcraft. there is no reason to be scared, it's a practice that puts you closer with nature and yourself, and the core belief is 'harm none'.
