I am 37 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if it still safe to have sex? I did with my husband lastnight but it was very uncomfortable and I serious felt like my water was about to break? Should we stop or is it ok

It's all up to you, if you don't feel comfortable when having sex don't do it. Doctors will tell you the same thing. Congrats on your baby

I'm in that sort of situation but not that far along. I actually read in a baby magazine yesterday that further along in the pregnancy you can but if it's that uncomfortable for you and you feel like your water is going to break I'd ask your doctor just to be sure, maybe you should consider other positions to see how you're most comfortable. Good luck!!

As far as i remember it's fine to have sex during pregnancy no matter how far along, they even suggest it if you've gone over your due date. If it was uncomfortable then try a different position or just say no!

As long as you are comfortable and not in any pain you can continue sex until the day you have the baby. But be careful, there is a hormone in semen that can trigger contractions. Good luck and congrats

right there with ya... i talked to my doc about it and he said it is uncomfortable simply b/c the baby's head is pressing down on the pelvis and cervix.. therefore shortening the space available for penetration. if you're uncomfortable or it hurts then it's up to you.. it won't hurt the baby... you can have sex up until you deliver... maybe tell your husband to go slower or softer and not try to go in so deep.. that could help too... hope this helps

IT WILL HURT, IF ITS UNCOMFORTABLE THAN STOP. I ALSO THINK ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU HAVE 2 MORE WEEKS TO GO, BUT IF YOU WANT THIS BABY NOW THEN KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING... I HAD OUR BABIES AFTER HAVING SEX. IT STARTED MY CONTRACTIONS. HAVING SEX IS SUPPOSED TO BE SPECIAL FOR YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND. IT GIVES YOU THE FEELING OF LOVE AND BEING CARED FOR AND MOST OF ALL CONFIDENCE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP.

if i were you i wouldn't because you are so far into your pregnancy. it would of been different if you were a few months but you're 37 weeks already. at this moment you can have your baby at any time now.

Yes it is still safe to have sex unless your doctor has advised against it. But if you don't feel comfortable with it, then dont do it.
