I didn't want to start this but I had to speak my mind on this. I have seen alot of messages being posted on here regarding the immigration laws. "Illegals get out, you are taking jobs away from Americans" (quoted).Some people even calling it "THEIR" land. To those people, I laugh at your ignorance. When did YOU purchase this country? The day a so called 'poor american' takes a job out on the fields, working for pennies a day is that day anyone can say that illegal immigrants are not needed. Until, then (the poor trailer trash guy, or anyone else who wants to call themselves a "Poor American") that I see off the freeway offramp begging for money should learn to see themselves first and what has become of their poor pathetic lives. Illegals here pick up the slack that the 'american' people will not due. Just as LEGAL people have the opportunity to live life as a free human bieng, shouldn't they get the chance to live as well ?????????

You know, what I agree with you, people sit there and talk so much sh!t about immigrants and thy don't notice who clean after them, take care of their kids and feed them, there may be some bad immigrants, but not all, most of them are here to work and find a better living for themselves and their family and anyone who can't see that is just plain stupid and ignorant. So thanks for spiking on that.

The key word is ILLEGAL. I don't think anyone complains about legal and orderly emigration to this country. That is how this nation was built. My relatives came thru Elis Island and were hated for being Irish. Oh, well. Just think how they would have been hated if they snuck in and took a job from someone who waited their turn in line and attempeted to follow the proper channels. Or worse did not take a job and expected the working citizens to pay for their scholls medical bills etc. Now if you want to talk about purchasing this country...
Your correct we did not buy it with money. We conquered the Indians, sorry Native Americans, and kicked the Mexicans out of the west and took the land fair and square. If they want it back they can come and try to get it. Or move here LEGALLY and enjoy the benifits of this great nation. It must be nice here cause I don't see people sneaking into Mexico or South America in search of a better life for themselves or their families.

Absolutely NO ONE is saying or has ever said on this site that immigrants are unwelcome. What they and I are saying is that the ILLEGAL immigrants are draining resources from our people. They come here and get social services, send their kids to our schools, get medical assistance, and therefore, they are taking away from what we as taxpayers are providing for OUR citizens, not those from other countries. Your argument re: jobs is ridiculous!! These illegal immigrants DO take jobs away from Americans because they are illegally hired and are paid below minimum wages to boot. Sending the money to Mexico they earn here goes MUCH further than here, so they can afford to take low wages which in turn puts our people out of work. One person on this site made an excellent point when he asked who does all the work in the Northeast? Americans do, of course. So, don't give me that crap that the illegals are here doing us a favor by working at jobs Americans won't do. That is NONSENSE!! Illegals should go back where they came from and enter this country through the LEGAL process as thousands of immigrants do every year!!

Are you spanish? I'm black and I have the upmost respect for spanish people. A few days ago I needed some carpet work done but wasn't able to be home to let them do work. They kept calling me and calling me wanting to work and earn there money. After they called me about the 20th time they came over went right to work and never stopped for a break. I paid them they said thank you and left. I will never say another bad thing about anyone spanish aging.

The problem is they are entering illegally. Also the businesses hiring them are breaking the law. And as legal citizens this is our land. We have purchased it. What are taxes? Illegals don't pay taxes and raise ours by using our healthcare and our schools. They deserve to live well. But they should enter legally.

OK they do need to be deported all of them . jobs drying up gas prices is going up so is the cost of living i want pay for any one Else medical or for them to have food stamp or to over crowd our schools etc .these jobs you say no one want will look real good to a lot of you peoples in the near future .we just can't take the hole county of Mexico here .it would be bad for this country period
