If candidates didnt come out and say they were Republican or Democrats and just campained, wouldn't people be forced to actually listen to what they plan to do for the country, instead of blindly voting for someone just because they belong to the same political affiliation? And people won't have to be so nasty to each other, as seen on this site alone!

i think you're on to something. while the person above me who seems to like writing the word 'damnocrats' probably doesn't do much thinking on his/her own, he's a perfect example as to why your question poses a great hyphothesis. without the labels, the talking heads on both sides of the aisle would not be able to use catchphrases and talking points, and instead would actually have to communicate on a higher, more educated level. if anything, it would also force the people who listen to those pundits to think for themselves. as a republican (not a neocon), i recommend it.

voters could be compelled to vote for a guy according to his techniques and attractiveness. human beings vote for somebody according to his shade, blue or purple, black or white, and not his creed, immediately. do away with the colors and unexpectedly a individual has to make an clever determination or decline to take part. balloting must be an psychological technique of choosing the main elligible candidate between a team of much less-elligible applicants. If it turns into something like the balloting Rights marketing campaign interior the Nineteen Sixties, the place the Democratic social gathering recruited drones to vote for whoever wore blue, or the present technique immediately the place votes gained by utilising a candidate is at present proportional to the money spent in stupefying television classified ads, then the psychological technique of balloting is wrecked and undesirable leaders are crowned.

No. People will always label themselves. So call them Fred and Ginger for all I care. The same people would end up in the same groups under any name.

There is an old saying "Birds of a feather flock together."

Yes, it absolutely would. It would force people to examine each and every candidate's opinion on things, rather than viting for an R or a D. It would be a more balanced government.
