Most of the time I'm pretty sure of who and what I am or what I think I am. Is the world what I think it is? I guess that depends on your perception of things. If you look for negative things you will find them. Same goes for positive things. I guess I wouldn't know otherwise unless I could see through someone else's perspective.

Whether it is or not is irrelevant. I have to treat it as if it is real.

If I see a rock -- I know that it is possible that it is just a figment of my imagination. But if I go up to it & kick it, it hurts my foot. So -- I treat it as if it were real, even if it is not.

I don't see the point in wondering if it is real or not when I have to treat it as if it is real.
