My wife says I need to maintain my equipment better. The chain saw just wouldn't start no matter what I did. I hate it when my wife is right? Do you feel that way about your significant other?

I know what ya mean, I work graveyard and took off early and went home and had crazy sex with my wife...then got up early because she was snoring so loudly...I took a shower and went into the kitchen and to my surprise my wife was cooking me breakfast....and mentioned she didn't realize I was home and the snoring from the bedroom is her mom that decided to spend the night last night...yikes! LOL.

Perhaps you need more lubricant.. I hear the friction can often cause almost a reverse effect and cause it to stay inactive.. Don't worry, it happens to a lot of people. You should get some oil and dribble it on the chain.

What I find most embarrasing isn't the fact the it didn't 'fire' but that you actually count the strokes. Maybe if you stopped counting and enjoyed it you could make it work better. =)

You might try relaxing and doing something else. If you think about something too much and obsess over it they nothing works right.
