Should'nt the avg anti-virus remove them? If the anti-virus has the names of the trojans, and viruses, you could download from the internet: BitDefender 9 Home version, trialware. Or, you could by it. It scans constantly. Microsoft has free anti-virus software on it website. Look for "downloads".

Go here and do this procedure. Although it is about sypware removal, it is the same procedure use for virus and trojan removal. Just use your AVG program instead of the ones she lists.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/community/columns/bugbusting.mspx

Do download one of the Registry Repair programs she lists. You will probably need it later.

Go here and download the Malicious Software Removal Tool. It's good at removing many Trojans. Use it after running the AVG.

You can also use ewido for trojan removal. Many consider it the best trojan remover available. Use it in the procedure above.

http://www.ewido.net/en/

When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

Start Ewido. When you run it the first time, you get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK.

On the main screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start Update button.

After the Update finishes, the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful".

-- If you have problems updating see here: http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Once the updates are installed do the following:
Click on Scanner

Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
- Binder
- Crypter
- Archives

Click on Start Scan and let Ewido scan the PC.

While the scan is in progress, you will be prompted to 'Clean files', click OK.

When AVG is scanning, when it locates a virus or trojan, a small menu will pop-up that gives you the option of healing the virus. This menu will only appear for 30seconds, so act fast.

Or you could delete the infected file manually!

hi, trojan is a disgusting and infamous kind of virus, perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

Malicious virus removal tool:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx

That should help.

I'm surprised that AVG didn't remove them. Are you letting your AVG update. Mine updates almost daily.

If it put therm in the "virus vault" you can delete them from there.

Good Luck

sell your PC and buy a Mac. They don't have viruses, plus they run Windows too! How cool is that!
