Switzerland is way too careful with their borders and who can live there to open it up to the rest of Europe - very sensible. Norway has always been nutral - even during the WWII. Sensible people. remember if you join in the EU anyone from any other of the EU countries can come and live and work in their country legally without visa. That would include all the eastern European bloc, Turkey, all these places have histories of mass migrant workers. Poland have asked the UK to send back some of their people as the country doesn;t have enough workers! Work as an electrician in Poland for $200 per month or work in UK, for example, for $200 per week - you do the math. And that is, Ladies and Gentlemen, why Switzerland and Norway chose not to be part of European Union!
