Well, my first thought would be...what is the window screwed into?
I am assuming you are using molly's to screw into the sheet rock. I would suggest then you modify the setup to allow for hangers to hold it up at many intervals instead of just the ends.

Sounds like you need to use some "anchors" then. There are different versions..... I think for heavy drapes, I would go with the kind that actually spreads out behind the drywall, and clamps in place. These are called "toggle bolts", or "molly bolts", depending on where you are. Your local hardware store will have a whole collection of them, of various sizes.... take your bracket with you to the store, so you can get some to match.
IF... in the event you cannot get some that your bracket will fit... then I would suggest using some to attach a piece of wood to the surface of the wall.... The wood can be cut to any desired shape, if you want to get fancy... and stained, finished... etc.. Then use a heavy screw to attach the curtain bracket to the wood, after the wood has been attached to the wall with these anchors Ive mentioned. Ive done this before with heavy traverse curtains. I used a bracket end, that looked something like a spear head, and cut a shape of a shield, around the wood... and finished it to suit. Turned out very nice. Other choices might be a flower, or vine shape, etc.... It can be anything, as long as you have room to install the anchors, and then the bracket, into the wood.
Have Fun!

RE:
how to hang curtain rods when the drapes are heavy and rods fall off of the wall?
There are no studs around the window either. I used several stud finding devices and cannot find one. I even hammered a nail in several places around window and it just goes through the sheet rock.

You need to use some type of "wall anchor" to keep the screws in the wall. Check the link below for an explanation of the many different types, then choose the one that seems right for your job, go to the hardware store and get it, install it and voila! New drapes up and room done right!! Good luck!!

Try using those hooks that stick to the wall that can hold different weights. They come off the wall without damaging it. I've used them for hanging mirrors in my bathroom. They're kinda big and ugly but you could always make something to cover them up.
