I do not have a favorite kind of music or musical artist...
Regardless of genre, my ear has always been drawn to pieces which are dominated by minor keys. However, I'm sure that this preference, combined with others 'filters' I tend to use (timbre, structure,...), all but eliminates some genres from my consideration.
For example, I do not make a habit of listening to the music of South American dances, such as tangos. But I am almost always entranced whenever I hear Astor Piazzola's "Milonga En Re", --- a hauntingly beautiful work...

I like R&B and hip hop. I hate heavy metal and rock. I listen to some rap. I used to like country. I can't do techno or merry go round music.

i listen to underground hip-hop and some rap but not the new age rap im more into bone thugs n harmony and tupac and some more rappers!um i like linkin park papa roach and kron i kinda like a lil of everything except country heavy metal and rock!

I love Classic rock, like Led Zeppelin and Tom Petty and The Who. I also like Bob Dylan and Nine Inch Nails, and The Goo Goo Dolls. A lot of different types of music are good.

How do you live without metal and rock?!?! That's the best. But I do have to agree on that rap part. I don't like it.I listen to mostly hard rock.

I LOVE Irish and Scotch music, especially the Scotch bagpipes. I was fortunate to attend a concert recently by the Black Watch Guard from Scotland. That was just amazing!!

well I enjoy anything I can dance to ,because dancing helps with stress (plus I feel sexy when doing it)
I like country I had an inch for Garth like you wouldn't began to understand (my friends think I am weird since I am a woman of color and I live in the Midwest
But I also have to give it to some rockers like NIckelback,Hinder
still have love for Creed...Areosmith old but still rocks( I grew up listening to Ozzy and Ted Nugent ) crazy huh???

i like jazz and the mellow kind. i like country too. i'm too old for rap, heavy metal and heavy rock. when people get old their ears seems to become sensitive with noise.

I LOVE music, i think i have an addiction to it to be honest. I am always looking to hear new bands or different genres. As far as a favourite, thats hard to say, depends on the day i am having
