It would depend on what it is that your adding. For example, someone would be crazy enough to add nitrous...You get the idea.

No. They cannot completely cancel the warranty. The dealer can, however, refuse to make a repair if they can find a reasonable way to blame it on the performance parts. Here's an example:
Suppose you put a cold air intake on your engine.
If the cold air intake touches a hot exhaust pipe and melts, it's a poorly designed part and not the car manufacturer's problem. The dealer obviously does not owe you a new cold air intake.
If the cold air intake slurps up a whole puddle of water and hydrolocks your engine, you'll have to pay for a new engine.
If the timing belt breaks, that isn't the cold air intake's fault. The dealer may argue, but he has to fix it if the car is still under warranty.
If one of the springs breaks, the dealer probably won't even try arguing; he'll just fix it.

no, as long as it doenst make the emissions worse than factory. that is a law that was past, because dealer were trying to make you put on only factory parts by dealers only. i.e. saying if you dont use a ford air filter it will void your warranty etc. you can add many performance parts. cams, intakes exhaust, etc. and i doesnt void it. a supercharger and nos probably would. at least any dealer would fight you on it if anything went wrong.

It certainly can. But it depends on what you install.
As a rule of thumb, slight modifications such as a cold-air intake won't, but don't depend on it. After all it was the manufacturer who built the car, and they will stand behind it. BUT ir you RE-build it, they cannot be expected to stand behind modifications beyond the intended scope of performance.
