Of course, parents don't want their daughter to end up pregnant, because after all, she is the one that comes home with the baby.

However, the 'extremities' don't stop there.

If you look at society, it's very important for a female to hold her standard. The moment a female tells that she's had sex with more than one guy in 2 months time period, she's looked down on, and labled "trampy". Whereas a man can have sexual encounters with plenty of women...and actually be 'rewarded' for it.

I believe that parents know how easy it is for a girl's reputation to be ruined, and how important it is to have a good reputation.

Trust me, though I hated that my parents were like that, I thank them now because I have grown to become a very highly-respected young woman.

I have 3 sons and I told a friend that I really want to have a little girl too. She told me that when you have a son you only have one penis to worry about, but when you have a girl you have to worry about all the rest of the penises in the world.

I'd like to think that when/if I do have a daughter that I would treat her the same as her brothers, however my husband has told me that he doesn't want that to happen. He feels that girls are sooo much more fragile than boys - I personally don't agree. But these are just some of the reasons that were told to me.

properly the rationalization they do this's by using fact a guy has much less to stress approximately. you're actually not a slut and that they do have confidence you, yet they intend to make confident they might have confidence the guy you're relationship. Your brother's girlfriends probable weren't stable sufficient to rape him. Your boyfriends are probable able to it. i'm not announcing they could, yet your mum and dad intend to make confident, you're relationship a in charge, large guy. mum and dad are extra afraid for women folk by using fact females could be injury extra truthfully, and if a woman receives pregnant, she has the toddler! Be happy that your mum and dad difficulty approximately you and care approximately you. i got here across it irritating whilst i replaced into youthful additionally. I nonetheless do (i'm in simple terms approximately 21, survive my very very own, pay my very very own expenses and so on, and my mum and dad nonetheless attempt to enforce a curfew whilst i pass residing house). I understand the place they're coming from however. i don't agree that girls and adult men ought to have distinctive standards so some distance as curfew or privileges, yet protection rules are distinctive for girls and boys. there's a reason! you're saying you may look after your self? rather? So if a 2 hundred lb or 250 lb (you would be shocked how lots of them do not look it) guy which you're relationship comes to a decision to stress himself on you which you would be o.k.? What if he's a experienced fighter? What in the experience that your head receives slammed against somebody dashboard or counter superb suited and you get knocked out? All of those have took place to acquaintances. those females ought to look after themselves and ended up submitting police comments.

Because it just comes with being a girl..parents worry so much they set rules to keep us safe and out of trouble. From getting pregnant or hurt. With guys parents tend to be more easy because they can't get pregnant lol. They don't want to see you mess up your life by having a baby so early they want the best for you! Simply it all has to do with pregnancy.

I have a son and I have a daughter. Girls are precious to parents, they are delicate like a flower so you do all you can to protect the delicateness and sweet innocence of a girl. Boy are rough and tough and need to be able to care for themselves so they can later on in life care and provide for a family.

It's because of how ignorant kids like to go out and have sex way before they should.
Sex isn't cool.
The pregnancy, AIDS, and all that other good stuff that comes with sex's rate is way up there...so that's why parents are like that.
I mean, with each generation, it just keeps getting worse.
There's no hope for our future.
*Shakes head*
Stupid f***ing kids.

I had the same rules for both but I still kept a closer eye on my girls. Why? I knew what to expect of boys. . . I did not know what to expect of girls.
