Anyone know which is the best expansion pack to buy for the sims pc. i've seen unleashed, house party, superstar, on holiday, hot date, livin iy up, makin magic. Is any of these the best or is there a better one?

I would say holiday as you can give your sims some time off to relax as with the first sims you don't get any days off.

I like The Sims Complete Collection. It has the original sims, House Party, Makin' Magic, Vacation, Superstar, Livin' Large, Hot Date and Unleashed all on one game. It's pretty cool. There is so much you can do. I've had the game for over half a year and I still haven't tried everthing out on it yet. I love it.

For the Sims 1 I enjoyed Makin Magic the best. So many spells to learn and the skeleton maid in a closet is great. Your kids can become adults using their own spells. And I never tired of turning people into Toads....
But be careful not to turn your friend into a frog if you have a pet dragon in the room or you could lose your friend permanently to a hungry pet....

For the original sims I would say that unleashed was the best. followed by hot date.
But I think Sims 2 is far superior, I would never go back to the original now, and for the sims 2 I would say the best expansion is Open for business but it is good to have them all, it makes a much better gaming experience, i can't wait until the new pets expansion comes out!

Sims 2 is the best - I have nightlife, university and the new buisness add on pack. Much more to do and better than Sims 1. Hope that helps xx

I have all of the Sim expansions and they are all very good..don't forget to visit the Sims website and click on to fan web sites where you can down load items for your Sims and many of these sites are free too.

i have every sim game you could mention, my fav on the sims 1 was unleashed cause i love animals. but you should buy the sims 2 its so much better, it has better grafices, and more things to buy, pluse its more like the real world if you ask me. like in the sims 1 when you have a baby you dont even get to see the face of it till it gets older and you cant do anything with it, also when the baby gets older it goes straight to the child.
in sims 2 you get to close up on all your sims (includind baby), you can play with it, and befor it gets older it has stages like us theirs newborn,infant,child,teenager,adult,old geezer.in the sims 2 their are more series like nightlife,open for buisness,university, but i hear their making one with pets,itll be here in oct. above all sims 2 is way better but its up to you if you want to get it or not..
