Hell no....neither of you can trust each other it seems....and trust is what friendship is all about. I say go your own way...

Take a year off. Let things cool down and get some space. On the other hand if you really want to be with this person and vice-versa then you need to sit down and have a real honest talk and if something can't be worked out then refer back to the first piece of advice.

Here are two things you can try:

1. End it. Just be done with it and hope years down the line you'll be able to catch up again.

2. If cooler heads can prevail, try to open up honest lines of communication, because that seems like what you need most.

that really is up to you some people tend to remain friends after all the hard feelings are out of the way and some just never speak to one another again i mean i wouldnt reccommend ever taking him back or trying to get back with him but i mean remaining friends is not such a bad thing.

Count your losses and cut the ties. Seems like this will never be the kind of relationship, whether it is friends or more, that it was before. You two probably have way too much resentment and hurt to continue on... at least immediately.

Nothing is recommeded really..Its whether or not you can act like adults and see through all that crap you went through to remain friends...And why would you cheat..Its so stupid and thats why so many relationships are wrecked because people cant keep their bits in their pants!!
just my opinion :)

You described a very immature relationship. I'm guessing that you aren't very old!
You both cheated on each other? Stay the heck away and do each other a favor.

There is no harm in my view. Remember the cheat but forgive the person. This is what which gives you the dignity

We would remain friends, but we wouldn't be sleeping with each other. If ya'll dont have kids together, then you have nothing to worry about. Ya'll really don't have to talk to each other. The only time I would talk to them is if we see eachother somewhere or they call me. I wouldn't call them.
