Don't think there is one that is THE BEST. I've had contracts on Orange,Vodafone,o2,T-mobile and 3.
Every one of them are better in some places than the others.
From experience I would definitely say T-mobile has the poorest coverage. I'm currently with 3 and despite everyone seeming to slag them off I find them excellent. Where I live 3 is better than o2 and o2 is currently the 2G backup network for 3 ! Although this is changing at the end of the year as Orange have now won the contract as 3's 2G provider.
Orange have excellent coverage, as good as Vodafone & o2 as far as I'm concerned. Vodafone is probably better than o2 in most areas I've come across. Vodafone is probably the dearest network for contracts though !

Depends where you are - around wqhere I live Orange is very good but Orange isn't good everywhere. In some places Vodafone is best and some O2 is best.
I think Orange and Vodafone are considered to be the best 2.

depends on the area but so far the largest coverage for me has been orange. I used to be on 02 contract but that was truly a pile of horse manure, their payg is probably better.
