This ID is a national ID that will have a bio-signature of some sort (like a scan of your fingerprint). This is being implemented in the name of "national security" but don't buy into it. It is the first step towards an implantable chip using RFID technology, about the size of a pea, that will be implanted and used as the national ID. Look at the following link for the actual bill that was passed to implement this national ID (it's from the Library of Congress website - an official government website...sorry, this isn't a conspiracy, just plain ol' fact).

Nazi Germany, anyone?

I for one am not going to accept a card. It may mean I won't be able to drive, or do many other things for that matter, but so be it. I'm not going to turn over my soul to the government. I hope others will follow and not accept one. If nobody does, then it won't have any affect, and what are they gonna do, put us all in jail? If so, see ya there.

Freakzilla doesn't get it, as do so many other Americans not get it. This is why it's so scary. Wake up to reality, people. This has nothing to do with national security. This has to do with gaining power and control over people. Honestly, can you really tell me you wouldn't mind having a trackable RFID chip implanted under your skin? I fear for you if that's the case...

Most people are too young to remember Nazi Germany, or to have read Orwell's book "1984" (which was written in 1948.) They just don't get it. Last night AMC reran a Gene Hackman movie, "Enemy of the State." It is going to be on again tonight in about an hour (here in Mtn Daylight Time.) You should watch it, although after only 8 years, it is already obsolete. Technology has advanced so much since Enemy of the State was produced. You should read the book(s) below to find out more about this technology and the problems that it could cause.

Afterthought: One way to fight this new law is to contact your state legislators and ask them to refuse to implement the new law. Anyone who doesn't have the new federally approved ID, won't be able to get into federal buildings, including army recruitment centers. I would think that when Congress realizes that potential recruits from several states can't get into the building to enlist, they might rethink the new law.

Hmmm, sounds just like what is mentioned in the bible. Where will it be implanted? In the right hand or wrist? Not good folks. I will refuse to have one implanted in me. It mentions in the book of revelation about a mark or some sort of placement of a number or the like on the forehead or right hand or wrist.

Revelation 13:16-17: The Beast places a mark on the hand or forehead of his followers also. This mark is his name (which represents ones character).

Revelation 14:9-11; 16:2; 19:20: Those who receive the mark of the Beast (worship something other than God) will be tormented.

Revelation 9:4: Those who do not have the seal of God in their forehead will be tormented.

So, it seems to me that if we don't get this chip implanted, we will not be able to buy things or do pretty much anything, and yeah, probably be arrested for it or even killed. I say throw me in jail or kill me. I'm not getting it.

Right idea. But you misquote the law.

Yes, the ID cards require a bio-signature of some sort, like a scan of your fingerprint. Just like many states currently do, and just like federal IDs have for a while.

But it's not a federal ID card. Yes, you have the option of getting a federal ID card that conforms to the requirements.

But what the law also does is standardize requirements for state-issued ID cards, including driver's licenses, to contain the same information in electronic form (like a bar code reader) and accessible by any state or federal law enforcement officer.

I had to provide a fingerprint to get my driver license in my new state 8 years ago.

Honestly, I don't think they want your soul, just your fingerprint.

I do understand the fear, though, of the government slowly but surely eroding the civil liberties of the people, but I think that's why we hold elections every four years. Still, the terrorists win when the people live in terror, and it doesn't much matter if it's terrorists or our own government of which we are afraid.

The chip one way or the different is fullyyt a failure, I think of hackers switching identities for money. formerly they locate the criminal he's long gone. think of in being so, hackers can delete a chip, reprogram a chip, re-implant a chip. that's the latest in stupidity. despite the fact that in the event that they might rigidity you to have this element at present, How deep is the hand that it would desire to no longer be bumped off with a knife? For believers yet it remains a contravention of their sacred physique , interior the comparable way that a tattoo is. additionally if it expressly signify the Evil empire of the 2nd earthly beast. As I surely have mentioned formerly I surely have a distinctive opinion relating to the mark of the beast and the beast. God is marking his followers on the brow in revelation. that signify your suggestions, your suggestions represents your spirit. So, so is likewise the mark of the beast, purely that his mark could be observe interior the non secular physique, or interior the actual physique in character. that's in basic terms evil doers stay on the stunning interior the top of cases. I have been given greater to communicate in this subject and the chip yet this sort is in basic terms too limited. so if each and every guy or woman might prefer to speak or debate in this might freely write me. respectfully and intelligently.
