Hello Nikki. I've been to the Philippines 3 times already and love it so much. I have been to Cebu, Bohol, Mindoro, Boracay and many great places in Luzon such as Tagatay, Batangas, Baguio, Subic, Angeles, San Fernando, Manila and it's surrounding cities and many other places. Out of all the places that I have visited, I didn't like Baguio that much. The food is so good, so many sweets and the pinays are sooo0000 beautiful.

Hi u, I've been to the Philippines many times (in factI was born there too). It's a lovely country with warm people. If you've been there (or perhaps was born there but migrated) and never been back, you're missing a big part of your life!!! Culturally, historically and socially, while it has now becoming to be a poor country, people there are great! If you have a Filipino blood, you should be very proud of your parents' or anscestors' history. For you to appreciate this, I suggest you have read a crush course or book about the Philippines' history and then you'll know what I'm saying. The country has always been in transition, never have been able to solve its very fundamental problems of poverty, equality and equal justice, however, one would still wonder, especially if you know even a bit of the country that Filipinos by enlarge are great people! Somehow you must have noticed these with your parents!
In addition, I suggest you read the country's history during its struggle to be free and independent against powerful countries such as Spain and the United States. The valour and sacrifices your forebear have shown, despite overwhelming odds, would perhaps make you feel very proud of yourself!

Nine times, most recently last month. Manila, Cebu, Dumaguete, Bacolod, Iloilo, Boracay, Baguio, Nueva Ecija, among other places.
And each place brings something different and special to my experience. The heat and noise of Manila takes some getting used to, but after a while I get a feel for the rhythm of the busyness.
The provinces is where I spend most of my time since that's where my remaining relatives live. And that's when I ignore the clock and let time pass, except when Kapamilya Deal or No Deal comes on. :-)
Some people complain about how slow time passes. I sometimes wish time wouldn't move so fast before I have to come back to the States.

I lived in the Philippines when I was born till I was 7 yrs. old and lived in the US since then I remember a lot about the Philippines! Especially, Boracay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I like it there except for the fact that the traffic is too much and there is too much pollution!!! It's a very nice country but people abuse the beauty of their country like dumping their waste in the rivers!!!!!!!I visit Philippines as much as possible!!!! I'm going back there in December!!!!!!!!!
