I live in a really small town. I want to know if anyone has experienced or wants to experience small town life. What its like and what you think its like. Your population and location would be nice also but not necessary. Me...small town, about 2500, Huntsville AR. I love the calmness and polite people that still exist.

I grew up in a small town (the understatement of the year) and know exactly what it's like.YUK Don't know the exact population but bet it's even smaller. I now live in a small town but not quite as small and live in an area that is close to an interstate and a large city. I hate big cities but also hate really tiny small towns.
Country girl but sorta like the in'between size. As for the people still I do not like the small tiny towns(people are to Nosey and Opinionated) in a med size you have the freindly down to earth people but not so much of the other. But I'd rather live in the small town than a big city anyday!! If you've been to a big city you've been to em all-I've been to much to Many.

I live in the city, but i live far enough away from the heart of the city that I can understand how people enjoy the small town life. My neighborhood is nice and peaceful and there is very little activity here in the summer, with the kids being out of school and such. But when school starts in the fall, it's kind of hard to get the same peace of mind with all the riots and fighting going on. My location is Trenton NJ and the population here is abotu 80,000

I recently moved to a small town from the suburbs of a large metro city. The suburbs were very up & coming, very technologically advanced. Although I absolutely love the small town atmosphere now, it was truly a huge adjustment. I feel like I have stepped back in time to the 1950's.

I live in a big city. I lived here all my life. I live in Alexandria, Egypt. We have a population of 5 million. I'd love to experience the calmness of a small town. I'm not sure I can live away from all the goodies of a big city, though.

I love the small town life. I am an avid traveller and always stick to small towns and resorts. Its nice to be close to the city so you can go in when you want, but at the end of the day its nice to unwind in calm pleasant surroundings. Who needs the constant day to day buzz of the city life.

I lived in a small town in Central Illinois, now I live in Chicago. The peace and quiet of small town living is something I'll cherish forever. The anonymity of living in a big city is what I like now.

Country life is the best.
People work very hard to earn a living and they know what it is to struggle through not only bad times but also how to enjoy the good times.
You will find country people are generally always there to help you..

I too had to move to a very small town and was very nervous and upset about it. However, when I met new people, they were very nice, kind and understanding. I met and made many new friends that were polite and had great manners. The small town was in the Midwest.

Small towns are great. But I've never lived in one that small. Small towns have the charm of closeness that big cities lack. You are lucky to live somewhere everyone probably knows your name.
