What do you think about girls with tattoos?

I'm wanting to get some tattoos, but i want to know what most people think about them.

ok to me they are awsome!!! i have 4. i love them all. anyways ok if you want a tattoo then you really shouldn't be worried about what other people with think about them. its your body not theirs!!! but if you are worried about what people will think then get in a place where nobody except you will be able to see it. but in my opinion if you want one then just go and get one don't worry about what other people will think of you. alot of people like them but then other people don't so its what ever YOU want to do. don't let anyone stop you from doing what you want to do!!! I think too many tattoos tend to make people look kinda scary. I've also heard that it's difficult for someone to get a job if they have a lot of them. I doubt that one or two would keep you from getting jobs though.

I, personally, try to look past the appearance and get to know the real person underneath the body art. I don't agree with tattoos, but that doesn't mean that I dislike anyone with them.

One word of warning if you do get a tattoo. Don't get one on the stomach. (I heard a horror story from a friend). She told me that her friend got a frog tattoo on the stomach. And later on, her friend got pregnant. The tattoo became distorted. After the pregnancy, the stomach went back to normal size. The tattoo remained stretched out and distorted. (Of course, that applies only if you are going to be pregnant sometime in the future).

More often than not, the impression is negative. Why not just try henna tattoo? This lasts for almost a week and when it is gone, you can try another one. This way you, won't have to deal with the problems on how to get rid of your tattoos that are indelible especially when you're already a grandma.

do you ever change your mind? what if this is one of those things that you end up wishing you'd not done. it's not like getting your hair died a weird color you end up hating. why not just get some funky clothing or ink transfers to wear. and if you do get one or two, put them in discrete places so you won't have to think of them if you end up not wanting them any more.
if it were rare and unique it would be cool, but to just join the masses of people who are doing it then you're just buying into the trend.....however it is a cultural thing for some, like the New Zealand native people. you may have a deep rooted desire to have them for a serious reason, but if it's just to be cool looking I'd find another way.

I think a nice tattoo done tastefully is very pretty. A nice butterfly on the ankle or a rose on the shoulder look good.

The question is... what do YOU think of them? Dont make any decisions based on what others think. I love 'em have three of them (where they can be covered for work) and would get more. Even people who love them have differant tastes as to what type, placement, color or no color, etc. so even if people say they do like them they still differ on specifics.

Makes me think they are Trendy followers. I just want to ******, because I can"t take them seriously as future mother to my kids. I have seen a lot of porn vids and every "actress" has a tat. Good company don't ya think. Nearly 38% of Americans have one now. People think they are setting themselves apart. What a joke. My Grandpa has some from the WW2, he hates looking at them everyday he says, But oh yea "they meant something" when he was 19. TATTOES ARE THE NEW MULLETS!!!!

I think tatoo's are hot. My idol, Billile Joe Armstrong has a whole bunch of them and so does his wife. I think it's cool to get them in places that don't show. You know where I mean. That way the only people who see them are people really close to you.

I think they are okay if they are tasteful! I also think the should be placed in "lady like" (for lack of a better word) places. Like.........

something like that! I have them on my ankle, tops of my feet, and the back of my shoulder and my hubby and I love them!

A tatoo is a personel choice for everybody. If you want one get one.However, it's like anything else in life,if done in excess it can be perceived as a negative thing.
