i have a pretty small d-i-c-k (about 4 inches or so). I havent dated anyone because I am afraid that I may not satisfy my partner's needs or may get ridiculed. Should I live by myself or get surgery? Serious answer please. And I am gay, probably a top.

About half of the people don't really care. If you never start dating you'll never find that out. It actually only takes about two inches to reach the prostate, which is basically the male G-spot. I'm of course assuming that you mean that your penis is 4 inches when erect, if it is 4 inches when limp, that is perfectly normal, in fact some may even consider that large, but I think you mean erect. But if you never date anyone you may never find that one person that loves you for you, not for your unit.

a 4 inch penis may not be sufficient to allow comfortable anal penetration, in that you may find it difficult to remain inside your partner during intercourse.

However, a surprisingly small percentage of gay men require anal sex to be the center-piece of their sex lives - more so since the 80s. Many men are perfectly happy with variations on frottage and oral sex, rather than anal penetration.

The average penis for caucasians is around 5-7 inches. Four is not really small, just statistically slightly below average. And when I was dating, it would not have been a turn off for me.

There are size queens who will reject you just because of this - but they are in the minority, and they are missing out on so much because sex consistitutes at most and hour or two of a day spent together - it certainly never was the main focus for me when dating.

It is true that many men you'll meet in bars are going to be hung up on body type, preferences, and size. They are mostly interested in sexual encounters, not relationships. I would get involved in some gay clubs and organizations where sex is not the central component. Chances are you will meet a nice guy who is going to be more than happy to accept you just as you are.

Surgery by the way is expensive, and not very successful in adding length.

I have to agree with the above. Don't get yourself down about your penis size and it's sure no reason to not date. Whether it's the str8 world or the gay world, there will always be people who focus on the outside of a person rather than the inside. In time you will learn that these are people that you will distance yourself from.

My husband is very comparable to you in size - we have been together since 1989...and I would normally consider myself a 'size queen' - however I was already in love with him when we first went to bed - by that time it did not matter. (but also I am the top in my relationships)

Find someone to date and take your time before jumping into bed - let them get to know you as a person first.

you know, he said it perfectly. but i have some advice: do not get surgery.
Most surgeries like that have the men in such a position where they can't even become erect after theior late 40's. yeah that really sucks. so surgery is a BAD idea.

I personally don't worry about size. It's the whole person that is more important. Lots of guys have small penises. No big deal.

If someone judges you based on your penis size, then they are the ones who are immature and not worth having relationshpis.

Trust me, it's not the size, it's usually expieriance that makes better sex, and don't let that stop you from enjoying a nice sex life.

don't do it. If someone loves you, it's for who you are, not how big
