before you try to fix it yourself..check to see if the 7 year new car warranty on AC is still valid..check it out..they have one..

I would suspect low referigerant charge.
Beyond that, the sensor on the evaporate that cycles the compressor.

need to recharge the system, it is a closed system, so there is a leak somewhere, would have to take to place that does a/c install and recharge to find it
