I'm a South African living in Seoul, Korea. Most of what I miss about our beautiful country is the people. We are such a joyous bunch of people.

And if I have to choose which people, I'd choose my family and neighbors. In my hometown, everyone knows everyone and, apart from the gossip now and then, we all get along. I can go to my neighbor and ask anything. And when we have block parties everyone comes out to join in the fun. People braai and drink and before everyone leaves, we all take in the drunk older gentlemen.

South Africans must miss all kinds of stuff. Like biltong, braais, sitting on the beach in Cape Town and Castle Beer...but for me it's the "Rainbow Nation" I miss the most.

Hey, if you wanna meet more South Africans, why not post your question in the South African category under "Travel"? Lots of good guys there and we would love to hear from you.

Hoop jy kom maak n draai!

Hi there. I live in South Africa so mostly at home, but I do travel a lot and even though I love traveling and learning more about other countries and cultures, when I am away from home I miss the people the most. It is always wonderful to land at Johannesburg International and to say hi to the immigration officials and have them say "welcome home".

Follow Porgie's advise and come over to the "travel - south africa " section, most of us hang out there.

hello! there remains crime here. Im unsure if the crime value has long previous up or down. i attempted to seek for an editorial on the South African crime value yet i could no longer get an as much as date one for 2005 or 2006. yet what i examine for the 300 and sixty 5 days 2004 is that our crime value had decreased then yet plenty can take place in over a 300 and sixty 5 days.
