Once you perform the search for an item, look along the left side of the page. The option to search locally should be available, as long as you are logged in and have your location set. You would need to contact the individual seller to see if they would be willing to meet.

Yes, there are some sellers who do not ship and expect you to pick it up. However, I don't think you can sort by this. Sort for your item and then look for locations - that is usually an indicator to pick the item up.

You could also check out craigslist.org if there is one for your community.

You are better off using craigslist.org, which is more like local classified ads. But yes, you eBay lets you search for listings within certain distance from your zip code area.

You can sort them by proximity to you, but then you'll probably have to contact the seller and ask if they'd be willing to work that part of the deal out. Some places/companies won't, some will.

yes you search by closest destination and see if the seller offers local pick up only
