Don`t believe all that the energy search sites tell you.I recently visited four different sites,put the same details into each one and guess what,they all recommended different suppliers.Stinks doesn`t it? Ended up doing my own research and have decided on a company called EBICO.Transfers are going through.Gas prices are standard nationwide with this company but electricity varies depending where you live.This applies to all suppliers.Hope this helps.

This is a 10 year old post and i think things have changed a lot by now. Find cheapest gas and electricity suppliers by comparing them on at least 3 comparison websites.

I'm with Npower... I think they are cheap.
Depends on your circumstances... I mean some places give pensioners special discounts and so on.

its dependent on where you are in the country go on google and typr in cheaper fuel and the search engine will do the rest based on your post code
