Try a Precision Turbo Kit
New headers
New Gears
Exhaust
Intake
But whatever you do, make sure the exhaust doesn't sound like a damn bumblebee. That is the most retarded crap ever!

All depends on how much performance gain. To start with, give it a fresh tune up. Install a cold air intake to get more cold air into the engine. Then if you want to go even more, supercharge the car. Any type of engine modification would require better header and exhuast modification. And if you want to go even faster, take cylinder head out and give it three point valve job. While head is out, replace the came shaft with racing cam. At this point, your car would be street illegal so it can only be used in racing application. You can also rebuild the short block for racing application too. but now you are looking at beyond DIY and expect to spend additional $5000.

I own a prelude, but I don't think Honda made the car to go fast. the H22 is a great motor, but the car's weight is just what is holding the car back. So maybe lighten the car a little?

short of changeing the mortor and trany, you can give your self more horsepower by instaling high performance distibutor pack, plugs &wires change the air breather sys. to a high input sys . drain and flush oil and go synthetic . better gas with and additive that will get you instant results .

Despite what dumbasses say, blugs and distributor cap arent a performance mod and hondas are slow as hell. Just enjoy the reliability and gas mileage without making it look retarded and wasting money.
