I think you should be an engineer or programmer that programs computer technology into cars. It seems like you have interests in computers and cars. Why don't you go for mechanical engineering and computer engineering? That way it will give you a well-rounded education in software, hardware, and cars.

Now, I know what they are called since the first answerer got to it before I did.

a mechanic gets less $ but it takes a long time to become a computer hardware engineer.

computer hardware engineer....well, you can do a lots of things if you know almost everything about computers...also, you have a tendency to be rich & popular like Bill Gates if you have the potential or talent to develop regarding softwares etc.
you can do the ff: computer business sidelines or jobs if you know a lot of repairs, programming maintenance concerning computers- specifically home services (own income) ---
also, computers today is the life of the business company,
schools, connections to loved ones all over the world thru chatting, e-mails, messenger etc---

I would personally choose mechanical engineer. Computers are great but the field is saturated and you may have more trouble finding work than you'd expect.
