One of my best friends just left for Iraq last night. It scares me, and I already miss him. I also have another friend there and they will be meeting up... kinda cool.

I think that it is wonderful that you are missing someone from downrange. It lets me know that there is really something WORTH fighting for. I am a female Soldier in Germany and I am married with two girls. Somettimes I wonder what all this is proving, but when I read and hear things like this, it makes it all worth fighting for. Thanks again!

I have a few friends over there as well. The only thing Im praying for is that all the troops make it home safe and sound.
