My favorite book is the Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind. Its the first book in the Sword of Truth Series. There are about 11 books and one more coming. I strongly suggest anyone that likes SciFi Fantasy to read this series.

There are a lot that fit into that category, recently I read this book called The World is Flat, discusses globalization and jobs in this fast paced modern world, is pretty ridiculous I would recommend this book to anyone, its very enlightening.
