Since when isn't walking good for everything? Walking is a great, healthy, exercise that should do great things for people who are trying to lose weight or toning. Walking won't lose weight alone though - eating healthy is just as important. Good luck!

Walking is a great exercise all around, it will help you tone up and benifit your cardio vascular system As for loose skin include more weights and sit ups into your day as well as your cardio work. Eat a balanced diet on top of this and you will be one healthy person. Good Luck

Walking is actually better for your body than running is, AND it burns more calories. I would say that walking is an EXCELLENT form of exercise, and isn't too strenuous on your body. As for toning, though, I would suggest walking with weights around your ankles and wrists...that would help to also work your arms and thighs.

Walking helps in every way! It is very good for losing weight. I walk 45 minutes to an hour and a half every night. I also hold in my abs, that helps a lot too. I got that from Tae Bo and thought it was silly, but it works. Good luck!

walking doesn't help with the skin flaps and stuff...at least i don't think so. Try the gym for that. But it definitely helps with keeping the weight off. So you should walk like half a mile a day and you should be good to go.

Try weight watchers for a good diet plan, I'm on week 14 and have lost 33 pounds.
For the exercise try swimming, it is good cardio, AND because of the resistance of the water you do get some strengthening. Try aqua areobics, it is super fun. It's like playing "simon say's" in the water. You don't get hot and sweat, because the water keeps you cool even when you are working hard!

It will help you maintain your weight, you probably won't gain but you won't loose. You should work your way up to jogging and running. The faster your heart beats the more fat you burn.

Its excellent, walk at a fast pace and don't forget to take your earphones with you, it helps you with the beat of walking. also a pedometer is good, you can put it on your ankle and it will measure the steps that you take, that motivates you more.

use the freezer to add some extra oomph to summer foods freeze grapes for some bite sized delights or get a popsicle mold and freeze some greek yogurt with berries
