That would definitely be a terrible waste.

it is not amusing, I suggest you come up with a better plan

I can't relate with that, but if you're going to be a Roman Catholic nun and just want to "experience" life in the convent, then i guess you'd be one of those people who'd get out once they got what they wanted - experience.

i wouldn't suggest that you go and experience being a nun if you can't stay a nun until you die. I'm sorry but as i see it, it just doesn't work for you (or isn't for you) unless you really are planning to just go in and stay there.

I believe it's not a profession you can easily change once you feel like it. Please decide very carefully and listen to what your heart is really saying before you go to such lengths to becoming a nun.

My answer would be to think about it, right now. Do you have a love life? Are you planning to marry someone? Then no, I wouldn't do it. But if your heart belongs only to God, then go for it. If you think that's what God called you on Earth for, fulfill his plan. Being a nun is not something to be taken lightly. God will expect you to put all your focus on him, everyday. Are you willing to make that commitment? Yes? No? You decide. Just follow your heart.

i went through a stage in my live where i wanted to become a priest. i was so sure it was going to happen. then i all of a sudden started living life. 'sinning' a little. now about 10 years later and i am so happy with my life. i'm not a bad person, i just chose another path. that experience has shown me that life will always 'bend', and accommodate you for who you are. my advice is just to be who you are and that whatever you decide, god, family, friends (true friends) will always love and admire you. just be happy no matter where the path leads..... best of luck:)

Follow your heart and your religious beliefs. No one can answer this question for you. If you feel this is your calling then you should do as god wills for you. May god bless and guide your decision.
