Should I just answer questions all weekend or actually do something? Any suggestions?

Hi Dellajoy,
NO, definitely not. Take this time to enjoy something you haven't done in a while, be by yourself. Sure it will be hard and you may start smelling her laundry in remembrance, but why, go out and have a good time. Rent some movies, call up some friends, or even organize yourself. Have fun, two weeks will go by in a hurry, make the most of it.

I would definitely do something for yourself. Take some time to pamper yourself. Go to the spa, have lunch or dinner with friends or just get off the computer and have fun in your home. Your computer will be there when you are done doing something for yourself. Be good to yourself. If money is an issue, then light some candles, have a bubble bath, give yourself a facial have a glass of wine or tea and cuddle up with your favorite Jammie's and watch some great movies. Relax

It sounds like your daugther and work are what keeps you busy...so this weekend should be about slowing yourself down and focusing on you! TURN OFF THE COMPUTER. Take a walk through your favorite park with a freind you have not seen in a while. Eat your favorite foods...especially the ones your daugther does not like to eat with you. Go to the spa...a facial...or even a pedicure will melt away the stress that is lingering from the work week. Go see a show...or even just curl up with a good book. A good one will be able to take you away :)

Go shopping. Call some girlfriends and make a weekend of it. Go to a movie YOU want to see. Wander around a bookstore. Visit an antique shop. Catch up on your reading. Run naked through the house. Take a nice long bubble bath without interruption. Take up a new hobby. Work on an old hobby. Eat a pint of ice cream for dinner.

You must have some idea of what you want to do...

PARTAY!!!! Go out and have a couple of drinks or something or go to the store and buy some drinks. Go back home and cook, watch movies and just hang out by yourself. Or, you could invite one of your male friends over and hang out with him. Also, you could go shopping, to the movies, or you could just rent you a hotel room for the weekend, somewhere not close to home with a swimming pool or something fun and just chill out there. Hell, go to a spa!!!!

That way your daughter doesnt accidently come home and interupt you.
Or throw a huge house party.. inviting everyone you know, including the neighbors so they dont call the police!

Have some fun, doesn't matter what. Go out on a date, go out and watch a movie, just have some personal time and relax.

Definitely do something that you haven't been able to since you're child's arrival. Have a girl's night out or something, because it doesn't happen often enough within those eighteen years. :)

Start with a long, long bath, candles, wine. Dress to kill, call a girl friend. Go dinning, dancing. Be alive... ask a man to dance. Enjoy yourself.
