How do you find out what your true sign is?

I know you are possed to look for your birth date- im an aries (dob april 14th). my personality really fits well with the decription of aries, but a few things are definately not me. I have read that you can be a an aries/another sign type. how do you know or figure out what exactly is your true sign??

You are more than just your Sun sign. You have a Moon and all the rest of the planets. You have an Ascendant (mask, approach to the world) and a Midheaven (reputation, status).

Your Natal chart is based upon date, place and exact time of birth, not just date of birth.

The planets are placed in signs and then in houses and aspects between those planets are calculated. All this and much, much more must be looked at and interpreted.

Things to look for in a Natal (birth) chart reading:

Your Ascendant, your MC
Your 10 planets in signs
Your 10 planets in the 12 houses
The interplanetary aspects between the 10 planets and points (Asc & MC), Vertex (destiny), North Node, South Node and Chiron.

you need to know where and what time you were born as well as the date you were born in order to get a true natal chart done....you can find astrologers on-line who will, for a fee, do you chart for you and give you your "true" description....but, remember you have the freedom to choose whether or not you will or won't do anything in life...your zodiac sign or combined signs in your chart don't govern you....you can choose how you live.....its just fun to see if you match what they say...btw...I'm an Aries with a Pisces rising sign with moon in Capricorn...which means I am a leader with a soft side who thinks with their head and not with their heart....sometimes that's right and sometimes its not..but its pretty close to how I usually go about my days....hope this helps some....

If you really want to find out everything, you have to get your chart done....try astrodienst....
there you'll find out also your moon sign and all the influences...you have to know the exact time of your birth....they will figure out the latitude/longtitude of your birthplace for you.

go to www.astro.com. put your info into the site and they'll put a chart together for you. There's a lot more to it than just your sun sign.
