nope i have skirts that are shoter

It depends on how tall you are:
5" above the knee on 5'10" = okay
5" above the knee on 5'2" = not okay
If you sit down and your butt is actually touching things that is too short. If you flash people when you get out of the car = also too short. If there is no way for you to adjust your shoe without making a show = too short.
Your skirt should NEVER be shorter than your jacket, it's just plain wierd.
As long as you can be lady-like in your skirt, and the rest of your outfit is modest you should be good.
I just don't like it when you see someone in a mini AND a halter.
If you want a Mini wear a 3/4 length top.
If you want a Halter wear pants...
Ya know? More skin isn't always better. Sometimes it can just look trashy, and once you have that rep it is REALLY hard to get respect back.
It's your call.

A skirt is too short if it's 5 1/2" above your knees. Especially if it's worn to school and when sitting in it.

I completely agree with the real zip....I thought hihg school was bad when I was in it, but now whenever I pick up my little brother I cannot believe what some of the girls at his school are wearing. That is obviously too short. If you have to ask a question about it then most liekly you also know that that is too short.

decrease than the crutch. The length you discribe could be 1/2 way down the thigh, that is short yet relies upon on what you doing, in case your on the sea coast its sweet as, besides the undeniable fact that, in case your going to a diner get at the same time its abit sluty.

it has to be mid-thigh. i don't know the size of your legs, so i wouldn't care for the inches.
