You know, if you translate the word "Holy War" into Arabic, it will become "Harbi Muqadasa" and shockingly there is not even a single word as "Harbi Muqadasa anywhere in the Qur'an or Authentic Hadith...

The Word Jihad doesn't mean Holy War. Jihad Means struggle and striving and in Qur'anic context it means Striving againest own self, againest the evil deeds or even in the War field for defence.

I hope it is now clear to you that "Holy War" is mentioned nowhere in the Qur'an...

Thanks

Naw it's not true mate.

They aren't following Allah's will, they are following Mohammad's orders. The number of verses that prescribe violence, murder, enslavement, and opression are not anywhere near 120. It's more like a dozen or so, and most Muslims agree that these verses only apply to "times of war", which have recently been defined as "when they (Muslims) are under unprovoked attack".

Unfortunately, sometimes an agressive militant personna uses these same verses to justify their disgusting perversions of what is supposed to be the words of God.

Peace!

All Muslim countries are expected to unite and move their armies to defend the Lebanese people and this is what meant by a holy war and it is a natural right in defense of the offensives of the American and Israeli war crimes (but Muslim leaders are cowards and loyal to Bush and Blair not to Islam and Muslims). Do you think that you have the right to kill Muslims without any resistance; how arrogant you are and what a shame?!

Seriously i think the person who posted this question is one big idiot.Cause he hasn't read Quran yet..you see quran tells Muslims not to kill anyone for their own satisfaction..And terrorist are not MODERN Muslims!!!and let me add this that the reason Muslims don't protest against these terrorist is cause in the west they are discriminated and which leads them too think twice before they protest and i am sure they are SO many good Muslims that i know would like to speak their thoughts about terrorism but due to hatred and discrimination they resist..

Contrary to many people's interpretation, jihad is anything but a "holy" war.
Jihad, as presented in the Qur'an implies the striving towards the ideal. This jihad, particularly involves change in one's self and mentality. It may concern the sacrifice of material property, social class constraints, and even emotional comfort, solely for, salvation and the worship of God alone. As a result, one who practices jihad will gain inward peace in this world and reward in the hereafter.
Jihad involves noticeable effort for righteousness. This means that the effort concentrated in jihad is a step in the true and ultimate path of Islam: the effort addressed to the benefit of one's self. Thus, jihad on this level is individual and self-centered. It aims at purification of the soul. This effort is simply doing good and seeking divine mercy and the pardon of Allah.

Jihad also includes striving for and establishing justice. Before someone can strive for justice in their community, justice must be one of their main religious and moral principles.

Jihad may also reflect the position of Islam regarding crisis management and enforcement of humanitarian international laws. Fighting a war in the name of justice or Islam - to deter an aggressor, for self-defense, or to establish justice and freedom to practice religion - would also be considered jihad.

Allah somewhat does consult with us with the aid of Holy Quran. Thats why He wrote it. you may locate the respond of each and every situation in Quran. Pakistan is a very good united states of america yet Allah has mentioned Himself in Surah Anfal or Surah Ahzab(forgot which one) that Muslims would be destroyed in the event that they do no longer look after themselves. So i think of we would desire to consistently do each and every-ingredient to maintain Pakistan for its our place of foundation. even nevertheless, prayers may even exchange the fates, so we could pray for Pakistan and make our maximum suitable contributions to maintain it. AMEEN. experience: as quickly as i replaced into basically tensed by utilising each and every of the crap many Muslim bros/sis say approximately non-Muslims that they must be killed, they must be destroyed etc........ until eventually I study in Surah Almaida that that's illegitimate forbidden to kill any non-Muslim who does not harm you and that i've got been given my answer.

that's still less than the amount of carnage in the book of genesis alone. well, that is the most violent one of the bunch. i gotta say the bible starts off with a bang but man, leviticus is hard to get through. although, it's a good lesson in carpentry.
