some parents yell at u straight out
some ground u
some don't care
some lecture
some are just different.
what's ur parent like when u get into trouble?

mine don't really yell nor lecture.
somewhere in between
and then in about one or two days they forget
but they never ground
or hit
or yell
or punish as in taking away stuff or anything

When I get in trouble, my Mom will yell at first. Somewhere in what she's yelling she'll remove privileges, and the next day she'll give me a lecture for about an hour. This isn't even if I did something horrible; she would do this even if I just forgot an assignment at home the day it was due.

Well my mom doesn't care about what I do and neither does my dad.... they don't see me all day and some times I don't see them for like 3 days in a row.... we live in the same house but my mom is a real estate agent and my dads a brain surgion... soooo they usually get up early and go to bed late... And they're to busy to even sit and talk with me.... I mean I do have 2 other sisters and 2 other brothers sooo they have them to worry about and sooo my sister whos 21 and still lives at home usually does the punishing which is .... "Gosh Brandy your soooo stupid.... why do you do shi.t like this??? Gosh just don't talk just go to your room...... No go to a friends house just leave this house your bugging the hell outta me.....GOD DAMN!!!!!!!" then she goes back to what she was doing and I go play on the computer or go out side and in about an hour she's back as my older sister and wants to take me to the mall.....some times my brother whos 17 will punish me but thats really rare....

I live with my dad and he yells and lectures but he doesn't ground me.
When I lived with my mom, I just got hit and that was the end of it. No yelling or anything.

My dad yells at me..than takes my phone away. and if i do something really really REALLY bad than he yells at me takes my phone away, takes the computer away, lectures me about how i shouldnt be putting stress on the family at a time like this (my mom has cancer). and send me to my rooom

it depends on their mood.... if they've had a tough day ..they usually yell.... otherwise they talk n discuss... n they noe i hate lectures so they will purposely sit me down n lecture me for hrs... however they dont believe in grounding... n i try not to upset them ... usually.... so i dont get into trouble often... i've come to realize my repsonsibilities and role as their child...

My parents used to yell and hit me. I to my daughter and than send her to her room.

My parents don't really do jack s**t.
They growl about it for a few minutes. Maybe an hour. Sleep on it. And forget it.
