first of all did he tell you he wanted to start a relationship with you? well if he did, why can't you love him? i know u only consider him as a friend and mabye he's not your kind of guy that you'll wanna settle with maybe you even have the hots for someone that not noticing you but here's what i would tell him.
raul* it's sweet that you love me and all but for us to get into a relationship and it not work out our friendship would not be the same if we part. i don't want to jeopradise our friendship now nor ever so it's best we continue being friends. LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES.

tell him let him don't keep him in the dark girl that just not right tell him so he can deal with now and get on with finding his soul mate if he's a really a good friend the the friendship will still be there but if you don't let him know that what ruins a friendship

Honesty is the best thing you can do in this situation. Explain to him that you don't like him in that way but you really want to stay friends and that you hope this situation wont ruin everything that you have. Friendship is a strong bond and if he really does care about you in any way then he will understand and stay friends with you.

Honesty is the best policy but I have to admit it depends on the type of guy he is whether you're friendhsip will last I went through the same thing with one of my guy friends and he started dating someone else tried to flaunt it to me like I would all of a sudden develop feelings for him and now we haven't spoken in like seven months hate to be a downer but good luck if he is really a friend he will be that no matter what.

If he loves you, not lust, but really loves you, he will never be able not to love you. My wife and I are not together anymore. I still love her dearly. I can't be her friend. Don't do that to your friend. My wife and I have gotten together sexually in hotels and such as "buddies" I guess. It's been devastating to me each time. Not the time we spent together, that was wonderful. It's the time after when the reality creeps back in that she doesn't want to be with me. I have band-aids all over my heart from that. I can't not love her. If your friend really really loves you, he can't be just a friend in his heart.

You don't have a friendship, you have a dysfunctional relationship based on one person being in love with the other.
Tell him how you feel, and that you'll never be interested in him.
Maybe you'll become friends after, but I doubt it.

well.... think u hav already made up ur mind ki u dont want to break ur friendship wid him..so whts stoppin u buddy....c as u said ki he is ur frnd..so he will b able to understnd ur position...as will b able to understnd u as u said ki he loves u...so jst go n talk to him..otherwise ask some of ur common frnd to speak it out to him..i m sure he will b able to understnd u...even though it mite take time for him to understd u as he has some diff feelins for u..but i think only u can xplain the best n rite way to him!!!!!!

i think what you should do is tell him that you dont what to throw away the friendship..... so thats why you cant love him they way he loves you... hopefully he understands were your comming from!!
