Dr. Jefes on Newport for Piercings. Just remember, if you're going to get a tat, make sure it's something that has a personal meaning and don't do it just cause. You can always remove a piercing and have it close up if you stay at 8 gauge or less. You'll still have a small hole, or a depression in the skin, but it'll usually close.
And if you're going to get a tat, be ready to want more because you will. After my first tat, I was back in the chair a week and a half later because I loved it. But every tat I have has significance to experiences or meaningful things in my life, and I don't regret a single one.

I can only tell you that as a mother, I'd prefer that you tell me that you intend to get tattoos and/or piercings. Don't surprise her. As for where you can go, just look in the yellow pages of the phone book under tattoos. I'd be willing to bet you'll find several.

Listen to your mother, she has a very short time of control over your life. Click on my image, then on Yahoo 360. There is a graph there that I recommend you print out and put on you wall as a reminder how little time she has control over your life compared to how much time you can do anything you want. Also, avoid Chinese Characters, if you get one when you grow up. They often mean Stupid White Boy instead of what you think they do. It is big business now to get them removed.

I'm sure there are plenty of spots. Just choose carefully what shop you go to and don't do it just to piss off your mom. Do it because you want it. A tat is permanent.
