When i was a kid my older brother was a bully. He was very violent. recently I had a dream where I was a teenager again and in my dream my bully brother was spanking my bare bottom..What does that mean?

During sleep our memories become consolidated, it is possible that during the day you felt you had done something wrong. In that case the fresher memories may have become linked to the older ones and activated that particular dream from a desire to be punished.

It may be just a dream, nothing else, But there is some hidden meaning.
Being spanked = being criticized, looked down, self esteem being low.
It could probably indicate that you are in your low self esteem again. You went back to the point that you remember as teenager to view that again. That is painful. Subconsciously you are seeking for help. You want to find the root cause first. So, by projecting the fact that you were spanked is the way you are trying to tell yourself that happened because of your bully brother.
Perhaps, lately someone said something that angers you and triggered to dream of your lowest point in life. Or perhaps, you have seen movie or something real fact happening even though it didn't happen to you. That also could trigger you to dream of that. Whatever that is, you remember that well because you still have anger with him subconsciously

Your brother represents an aspect of yourself (in the dream), maybe it is your more aggressive self. For some reason, you feel the need to punish yourself. Have you done something that you are not too proud of? Maybe you need to resolve this dilemma of yours.
