I am aware the question is hypothetical but I have been curious since reading one of Einstien's Theories.

Technically, if you were the speed of light, you would be so massive that you would collapse the universe. I don't believe you could see anything, partly because it takes time for your brain to process information, and any time for you would mean an infinite ammount of time has gone by on the outside.

Now... if you are asking, if you go the speed of light to another place, stop going the speed of light and look at where you came from, well, there is an interesting question. Because you were going at the speed of light, you look through a teloscope and see the exact same thing as you would have when you left. Think of it this way: you travel at light speed and the image of where you came from comes with you at the same speed. When you get to where you are going and look back, you see the same thing you left. It would require faster than light travel to actually see yourself "coming back" or anything like that. If you go faster than light, you would be able to get somewhere and look in a teloscope and, perhaps, look at yourself leave the planet, or... look at things that happened before you were born! Hey, its all theoretical right? Invent an inversion drive (Catherine Asaro, Primary Inversion) and find out!

( Because no one tried to trave in speed of light yet )
We Have Many ways to know this :
1- Get you in a (SOL) cannon and Fire it And when you hit the ground we can ask you.
2 - I Asked someone already .. he told me that : if you traveled at the speed of light you wont see anything .. ( Maybe because you are faster than the light so you wont see any)
3- If you are travelling at speed of light you'll have other things / Better things to think about
4-dont you think it is too fast that you will be in the place you are going in a second so you wont notice if you can see yourself coming back etc...
5 - instine Tried it and we've never seen him again .. they say he traveled in time
I Guess if you thought about more realistic thing you would had got a better grades :P :P
Kidding No offesne And thanks for the nice question

Well, no physical object could really be going that fast. But if you could, and if relativity is correct, then the time dilation and length contraction would reach infinity.
In other words, you would not be anywhere, and you would be timeless.

the speed of light is so fast that you would not see your self coming back.

No
Theory as you approach the speed of light time will slow for you. (time dilation)
