Most girls want to be cheerleaders because...well, depending on what they want out of it. I was a cheerleader in eighth grade because I was really shy back then and wanted confidence real badly, and I did get some. Another friend on my cheering squad wanted to be one because she really liked the pep rallies and I guess... cheering people up :P. Another girl was about to be one, but then last minute totally abandoned us when she said "Y'know, what's the point??" I suppose different girls (sometimes guys) want to be in a cheer squad for different reasons, be it confidence, popularity, chance to meet new people, and other stuff like that.

ive been a cheerleader for 7 yrs and im not stuck up or nothing i am a girly girk though ,but im good at it ,im an athlete i love to cheer ..ppl like steriotyping us cheerleaders but were not like the cheerleaders that u see in comedies nd stuff

I don't wanna be a cheerleader! They are so ditsy and annoying and they are generaly really desperate for attention!

because they think that they are all that and they are not they are a normal person like me. I HATE CHEERLEADERS. they are preppy.
