Boring... like watching grass grow. A bunch of grown men standing around patting each other on the butts. If they were off the field and someone put their hands between their legs, they'd be gay. Plus, its the only sport that has to have 5-7 commentators. Why? nothing happens.
Here's a fact: the average game time (actual play, not standing around in a huddle or waiting for officials (start the clock at the snap and end it when they are tackled)) is just 7 minutes. The rest is just wasted time. Nothing happens...thus the 5-7 commentators to fill the void of actual play.
Hockey and soccer (real football) rule. Game time is actual play time!!!

I can't wait for the real season. Pre-season isn't great, but it is good to see football back on TV.

I've been waiting for 6 months now. I'm excited to see the Detroit lions are going to do tonight with their new coach and QB. Hopefully this is a new era for them. Its been getting me pumped up for this season to start. Maybe I'll have something to look forward to this year. Go Lions.

I'm ready! - at least until week 10 when the Browns have lost half their players to injuries and are looking at another 5-11 year, I will be ready for basketball.
