I have blue-gray eyes, red hair, freckles, rosey cheeks, and my eyelashes are almost invisible, plus... I wear glasses.

Talk to your folks about contact lenses, it will assist with confidence.

I would love to give you a make-over, but being I'm not there and I can't see you I can't give you a ton of advice.

Do you have an older sister, and aunt, a cousin....a friend even who wears makeup and that you look up to? She could be really helpful.

Also remember you're young, developing......to me redheads always look so exotic. Give it some time. Start experimenting.

Below are some websites that may assist you on your path to teenage life.

Have fun, sweetie!

The first thing I want to say - everyone looks a little uhly at thirteen. The body's changing, your skull is growing, the body is out of proportion and in addition there's the teenage angst thing going on in most people's brains. It's weird - my little sister went from a really really cute child, to a.. unpretty tween, to a beautiful youth, just in 3-4 years. :)

Put if you want to use makeup, here are my tips. First, you can use some brown mascara. Brown looks more natural, and less intensive than black. Get bronze-powder or blush, and use a little on your apple cheeks. You can also try a little light brown eyeshadow - just a little darker than your skincolor. Keep it natural, though! And don't you dare conceal your freckles - freckles are really adorable.

Hair can do a lot, too. Red hair is GORGEOUS, but not if you just keep it in a tight ponytail all the time! ;D I have no idea what you look like, but maybe you can go through some fashion magazines and look for hairdos that would look great on you?

First things first...don't ever say your not pretty because I bet you are! Red hair is very pretty and freckles are sooo cute, and who doesn't like rosey cheeks, and your eyes sound like a pretty color too. Glasses aren't bad either, I know people who don't even need glasses who just wear them because they like too.

As far as makeup goes, always remember less is best!
Maybe you can try to get a blush that looks like a light suntan color and put it just on the top part of your cheekbones (starting at your hairline and come down just a little way)
Get yourself an eyelash curler and curl your lashes and put on some black mascara. You wont need much with your fair skin, just enough. Then put on a little suntan color lipstick to bring your blush together with it and a little lip gloss and you'll be beautiful !

Always remember that if you feel beautiful...you will be :)

The first step is probably to get contacts, just be sure to care for your eyes well.

While I understand how insecure you may feel, being thirteen, very soon you'll grow out of your "awkwardness" and look like an adult. So, be patient. I also don't think that makeup's the first way to go. Teenagers in America seem to cake the thing on from such an early age, you'd wonder if they'd worry about what their skin will look like when they're 30.

But if you must, keep it light, and use some good brands so as to minimize the damage done to your skin. Also, since you have red hair, I'd tend to think that pastel colors would look better on you, as opposed to anything too bright.

Well, I think you should buy Clean and Clear Cooling Daily Pore Toner. You can find it in the cleansers and acne medication line in almost any store. It's pretty cheap. Apply it on your skin, with a cotton ball, and it will change your skin and make it look alot smoother. That's what I use. Then you could apply a light brown eyeliner, to bring out your eyes, and wear some mascara to make your eyelashes look thicker, and a light foundation and lipgloss, and your ready.

well let your hair down is the first thing you would need to do. to bring out the color of your eyes try some blacl eye liner on the bottom of your eyes and light brown colors of eye shadows which will go really good with your hair color and for you cheeks try a light shimmery pink but dont add much. the light shimmery pink will make your cheeks very noticable and your eye lashes go with a medium color of brown mascarra. no need to worry about your glasses. you dont have to get contacts, the colors on your eyes will bring out your eyes and you make up will be noticible. just remember when applying your make up on dont put too much of everything. the less the better. good luck girl!

Honey - puberty is a horrible thing. But you don't need to wear make up yet. I bet you are beautiful without it - it is just the evil hormonal rage of teenagedom that will try to make you think otherwise. But I will suggest that if you must wear make up that last thing you want to do is pile it on like a pop tart princess. Keep it natural. Have fun.

Got to Wal-mart . They have better make-up that people might think. Go for light colors. You know... pink silery-white thing like that. You'll look great! Oh yea... use brown mascara, your eyelashes will stand out a lot.

Stick with a peachy/orange color for the eyes. Rather than a black mascara use a brown it won't look so harsh. Then don't use foundation, use a tinted moisturizer for your base and a peachy cheek with a light neutral lip gloss
