We are related to Wilhiem Von Mosebach, of Germany, who was royalty, until the whole Hitler thing, we werent like those kind of Germans, we are the ones who came to american for religious freedom, my grandparents were Lutheran. anyways, I was wondering if anyone has heard of them, or what happened to any of the rest of the Royal family, and how can I figure out what happened in Germany with the Monarchy. Please dont say google them. I would like something more direct than that. thanks

Go to the dollar store and buy a crown or tiara for every member of your family.
German took over Austria, Bavaria, Prussia and several other small germanic countries, displacing all their royalty. Many came to the US, others to South America, and others to various other parts of the world. You can try googling to trace them but other than that, I have no idea how you might locate them.
The Prussian, Austrian etc. monarchy are in the same boat as the French monarchy -- ie, they are 'pretenders' who hold a claim to a non-existant throne.
Good luck in tracing them -- and don't forget to wear your tiara!

You really need to do some genealogical research of your own and not just go on what grandma says. It has been my experience that everyone thinks they are related to royalty.
My grandma told me the same thing and as far as I have researched, she was wrong. So far I have discovered that we may be distantly related to Clyde Barrow, and I'm pretty sure he was not royalty.

The monarchy was kicked out of Germany after they lost the disastrous WW1. Kaiser Bill went to Holland where he died.

technically, aren't we ALL related to royalty? sorry, had to get that out. u could look them up at ur local library or at a university. the encyclopedias there would have more factual information & possibly how to contact them.

I would maybe look into some old news papers to see if they have any pictures. If your grandma just told you i'd ask her how you can get more information. Hope that helped in some way.

You're not that special. Get over yourself and look it up. Just because your "royal" doesnt mean you have to be lazy.
