I am really not a pro at computers. In fact I have always relied on friends or help. I have also never used or had to use wireless as I will need to in the coming months.

I just got a macbook and it comes enabled with bluetooth and the airport card. I was looking into wireless services. What else do i need? I'd like to know the basic setup, of what i need, dont need, etc... before I go and sign up with a provider. I am a rookie at this so help would be nice. Thanks!

what you need is a wirekess router that will work with your laptop's card. Then you hook it up to your internet connection.

Most routers have manuals.

Just make SURE you put a password on your wireless router - otherwise ANYONE in the area can use it.
